Bleah, been fighting off a bug for the last week. Still plugging away at the Hordlings and the next four will be up soon. In the meantime here's the player set up for a game I ran quite a while ago. It was my version of Rifts using D20 Modern, D&D 3.5 and Star Wars RPG. It was big and clunky and munchkinny and gloriously deadly.
Wisely, you have chosen the second option and
have been set loose in the town of Protopolis with your hard earned equipment and cash. Good
luck, you’re going to need it.
Peace was restored when Luke Skywalker joined his
father, Anakin I to overthrow the evil emperor Palpatine, and together they
ruled the Galaxy as Father and Son. That is until the anarchists Han Solo and
Chewbacca assassinated Anakin and almost succeeded in killing Luke before they
were killed by his loyal Sith Mistress-at-Arms, Mara Jade. Since that day the
Skywalker family has ruled the empire with a benevolent but firm hand. Today in
the year 126 of the Skywalker Dynasty, the beloved young Emperor, Arioch VI guides
the destiny of the Galatic Empire.
You sadly, have
fallen afoul of the benevolent rule of the Empire. For your heinous criminal
acts you have been sentenced to a
liftime banishment on Incarcerous, the Imperial Prison Planet. A
malignantpolluted hellhole, populated with ferocious beasts and the criminal
scum from thousands of worlds. Life on Incarcerous is brutal and usually short.
The planet is
encircled by vigilant space stations and constantly patrolled by squadrons of
heavily armed space ships. No one has ever escaped from Incarcerous.
Incarcerous is
also known as “The Dump” because it is used as a waste disposal planet for this
region of the Empire. Industrial waste and toxins, derelict and discontinued
space ships, the refuse of a thousand worlds, all are dumped here.
The Empire
maintains an outpost on the surface of Incarcerous. A giant fortified city on “Imperial Island”. Imperial forces and personnel posted here live a pampered and
prosperous life. Many own large estates on the Island. Imperials stationed here have all the resources of the Empire at their
disposal to maintain and enforce this lifestyle. For loyal sons of the Empire,
Incarcerous is considered a “Reward Posting”.
New Prisoners
are brought to Imperial City to be processed and they are given a choice: be
released onto the mainland at once with only the clothes they wear, or work as
an indentured servant for 7 years and then be shuttled to a relatively
civilized town with whatever money they have saved, or possessions they have
acquired.
